Our family struck gold when we were referred to Kyle and Heartland Music Academy to start 2 of our 4 kids with piano lessons. Kyle is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. She’s flexible in her teaching style and quickly learns what is best for each student. She creates a very comfortable environment for learning and for all abilities. She is always flexible and has excelled at adapting lessons during a pandemic! She brings all genres of music into weekly lessons to keep her students interested and their musical exposure balanced. After 5 years, all 4 of our kids (ages 6-14) now currently take lessons from Kyle. She knows each of them on a personal level and cares about their interests and activities outside of the lesson. Their lessons have the perfect amount of playing, listening, critiquing, recognition and expectations. We feel so lucky to have had her bring piano into their lives!
